This is the AI agent trust problem in its clearest form. You can’t build agentic workflows -in gaming or anywhere else - on top of a memory layer that any vendor can write to. Every “AI will replace X” pitch assumes the agent is neutral. It never is. In mobile specifically, where the monetization layer is already adversarial by design, layering a poisonable AI decision engine on top of the player is a product liability waiting to happen, not a feature.

I wonder if this is where dedicated AI agents could be more useful. An AI agent that is focused on summarizing third-party content and has built in guard rails against prompt injection. The agent could be given explicit instructions about what to remember and what to forget.
